MyOwnGenie is a technology platform that connects people who share wishes with people who choose to grant them. MyOwnGenie is not a registered charity.
Your account
You must give accurate information, keep your login secure, and be responsible for activity on your account.
Wishes
Wishes must be truthful. Misleading, fraudulent or prohibited wishes are removed and may lead to account closure.
Grants
A grant is a voluntary transfer toward a specific wish. It is not an investment, loan or donation to a charity, and it is generally not tax deductible.
Fees
A platform fee applies to each grant. Genies may choose to cover it so the wish receives the full amount.
Our role
We verify wishes to a reasonable standard but cannot guarantee outcomes. We may suspend wishes or accounts to protect the community.
